Nelson and Leo owners of Viet Shack have known each other most of their lives (they’re practically family). Leo, originally from an accounting background and Nelson, a fashion designer, just had a love for proper Vietnamese food.

They started hosting an annual summer bbq in their home town near Manchester, which often involved cooking for over a 100 people. After a few years, they finally decided to quit the 9-5 and start their own dream.
